'Heart of honey' - Finest quality of inks on Cotton Photo Rag Giclée prints. I loved creating this piece. The portrait took form really quickly and naturally. I wanted her to be relaxed but full of expression. She truly has a look that reads into your soul. With this piece I wanted to depict the feeling I get when I do a visualisation meditation and show the power we have to do soothe ourselves. I often visualise light inside of me and I have such a sense of gold radiating from me and it's an incredible feeling. Heart of honey shows how nourishing ourselves can get us to that place where metaphorically honey is running through our veins and shining from us.
